Get Access to the University at Buffalo
The University at Buffalo is both big - the largest and most comprehensive campus in the 64-campus SUNY system - and bright, ranking among the top 2% of American universities as a member of the Association of American Universities. UB's three campuses, 110 degree programs, 30,000 students, and $400M annual research spend combine to create a wealth of opportunities for partnering startups.
WIN collaborates with on-campus partners to produce a series of programs that help early stage companies connect with UB faculty, students, and facilities in ways that encourage partnerships and drive economic growth in the region. Programs include:
- Inclusive Launch: links startup companies with minority and female students for internship opportunities
- Reverse Pitch: brings startup companies on campus to pitch students on their innovative business models, culture, and career oppportunities
- Startup Alley: creates a cohesive, well marketed presence of incubator companies at on-campus career fairs
WIN regularly connects startups seeking to access UB and professors/student clubs looking to partner with early stage companies. To help startups navigate the vast resources available to them, we utilize a one-on-one Needs Assessment to quickly identify high-impact opportunities. These one-on-one meetings often lead to several opportunities to save time and money, access talent, and grow.
