UB Cultivator
The Cultivator surrounds early stage startup founders in WNY with mentorship and support to build our region's next great companies. Founders are paired with entrepreneurs-in-residence and subject matter experts to help new ventures validate market potential, establish marketing plans, gear up to fundraise, and connect with investors and customers.
A two-phased program, the Cultivator engages founders to identity and reach product-market fit through a six month Phase 1, before graduating to Phase 2. In Phase 2, ventures earn $100,000 in startup funding and access to free coworking space.
As a WIN program, the Cultivator extends beyond UB and is available to companies in WIN's region of Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, and Niagara Counties. The program does not require a prior affiliaion with UB.
